During our free consultation, we will discuss what time you would generally like to have classes, as well as what your needs, goals, and interests are. We also talk a little about your personality. Based on all the information we gather, we recommend the teacher who best suits you. However, at any moment, you can choose to try having classes with a different teacher in our Online English learning center.
The whole class is held in English. You talk around 90% of the time in class, and the teacher is there to ask, guide, provide associations so that you can remember/understand something on your own. The teacher encourages you to correct yourself when you make a mistake before she provides a correction.. This way, through active participation and conscious effort, you improve quite efficiently.
When it comes to grammar rules, you read them or get familiar with them through some material that we provide to you. In class, you use the grammar in context.
When it comes to reading long texts, it is also advisable that you read them as preparation for the class, so that in class you can discuss it with the teacher.
Writing tasks are also done between classes, and during the class the teacher provides help so that you can improve your writing.
We adapt our lessons to your interests, needs and goals, and we go as fast or as slowly as necessary.
Individual programs are adapted and suited to your needs. This means that we go through the materials as fast or as slow as you need us to.
The speed of going through the lessons also depends on your preparation – if you did the preparation tasks or not, if you previewed the lesson, etc.
Finally, depending on your goals, we might finish in 10 classes (if you’re in a hurry to prepare for some internationally recognized exam), but our classes might go on for years as well (most of our learners choose to stay with us for a long time).
